Nursery ideas

I've been throwing around some nursery ideas for Baby #2 and it is really starting to get me excited! I think now that the chaos of the holiday's are over, I can finally start to think about having 2 little humans running around! Still extremely scary, but exciting at the same time!

 

I still don't know exactly what I think this baby might be, but whenever I try to think of nursery ideas its easier to think of a boy nursery. That could just totally be because it's still the same plan for the most part as when I was planning the nursery for baby #1! Some days I feel like its definitely a boy and some days I'm not so sure!

 

So here is what I am thinking if baby #2 is a boy

 I still love this pallet collage for the name and above the crib!

Not that I really think mobiles do any good, but the idea is floating around that if I do one it will be something similar to one of these.

 

Instead of a "glider chair" I still plan to get this camo recliner!

 

I am still thinking of going with a hunter "dark" green color for the room, but that isn't really set in stone, because I have grown to not like dark colored rooms anymore... What other colors I would consider is a toss up, because I am all about some neutral colors lately.. maybe a creamy white color, or an olive tented white color?

 

If baby #2 turns out to be another girl.. this is what I am thinking

 

For the name on the wall I am debating between just the single letter with the flowers or the full name. I am kind of liking the full name since I did initials for Lakelyn. If I have a second daughter I want them to still get to be "themselves" although I would definitely be coordinating outfits :)

 

 For whatever reason, I would definitely want a mobile in baby #2's room if it turns out she is a girl and this mobile was the inspiration for the entire room. I love those colors and I would use the cream/ white color for the walls for sure!

 

This little blanket is super cute and would match so perfectly. Good combination of the fawn and flowers!

I love these colors together and the nursery is currently a gray color so I could actually leave it and not have to paint which would be AMAZING, but its still up for debate!



 

I am really into the flower thing if we have a second girl! I also would be getting a new glider chair because the one we had for Lakelyn was a hand-me-down and it was truly terrible! I realized about 10 months too late that I needed something better especially for breastfeeding!

 

Overall, I am super excited to get things going in the nursery and cannot wait to find out what we are having! I will be scheduling the ultrasound soon! Somewhere around Valentine's Day probably!
